Board member Reginald Coatney has been active with Plant A Seed for 5 years. He started out doing marketing and social media and after doing so well in that capacity, was invited to serve on the board. His board role continues his marketing duties, but he also serves as a community liaison to make the organization visible in the area. He loves his work with Plant a Seed knowing the difference it makes in the lives of children and how it serves as the catalyst for change on their pathway to success.

He also attended Southern University and A&M college receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Tulane University receiving an MBA with a concentration in Marketing. Additionally, he has non-profit experience and was instrumental in the success of a summer day camp at a local outreach ministry.
Outside from his duties with Plant a Seed, Reginald works at PioneerRx pharmacy software as an Accounting Support Specialist and serves our state and nation as a member of the Louisiana National Guard.
