Project Update!
Proposed Plant A Seed in Our Youth Foundation building project and our current financial projections.
The proposed project is based on a $500,000 total building budget. Our current funding strategy includes:
Up to $300,000 in prospective Foundations support, potentially structured at $100,000 per year for three years.
A proposed $230,000 Pledged.
Our program projection includes 80 students:
30 students at the New Building Project paying $50 per week for 48 weeks.
25 students at Mitchell Park supported through grant funding.
25 students at Stonewall Baptist supported through grant funding.
Projected Year 1 operating revenue is $197,000, consisting of $72,000 in program fees, $100,000 in operating grants, and $25,000 in rental income.
Projected Year 1 operating expenses are approximately $163,600, with an additional $14,400 annually for our existing SBA loan. This leaves approximately $19,000 in projected cash flow before payments on the proposed new building loan.
These numbers are still being refined as we develop the building project, identify additional funding sources, and determine the final financing terms.
